Benihana Menu With Prices & Pictures [Updated]

Benihana, one of the best Asian-themed restaurants in the world today, is a great choice for every occasion, whether you’re looking for a quiet evening for two, a fun evening with friends, or a relaxing meal with the whole family. While you dine on authentic Japanese food with an American twist, you’ll be entertained by the teppanyaki chefs, who have outstanding knife and cooking abilities. They only utilise premium ingredients including farm-fresh produce, lean meats, and wild-caught seafood. Their brilliant idea of hibachi-style group dining spread rapidly in the early 1960s. They continue to be the longest-running supper show in the world.

Benihana Menu With Prices includes dishes for every taste, from sushi and hibachi to teppanyaki and sake. They include lounge space for a more private lunch in addition to the traditional hibachi tables for larger groups. They have over 15 different franchises and over 64 individual teppanyaki restaurants all around the world. Besides the 27 RA Sushi locations, they also own six Haru eateries. The “tiki mug” they use to serve their unusual and upscale cocktails are actually highly sought-after by collectors.

History

In 1954, Rocky Aoki opened the first Benihana restaurant. He attended university in Tokyo, Japan, but afterward he decided to pursue his goal of operating a restaurant in the United States. He started off like many other successful businessmen, peddling ice cream on the streets of Harlem to pay for his restaurant management education at night. With the success of his ice cream business and the help of a loan, he was able to launch his first restaurant, thanks in large part to his original concept of topping his delicacies with brightly coloured Japanese umbrellas.

In 1964, Aoki established the best teppanyaki restaurant in the United States on New York’s West 59th Street. Benihana’s is named after his parents’ Tokyo cafe, which was the original source of his entrepreneurial drive. His restaurant would look like the inside of a genuine Japanese farmhouse, and his best cooks would create traditional Japanese dishes for diners seated at tables surrounding a steel grill. Legendary critics praised his work, and customers were wowed by the adept chefs’ dramatic knife abilities. Within the first six months of business, he had paid off his loans and begun making a profit.

Since opening on the streets of Harlem, it has expanded to more than 70 locations across the globe, where it has served more than 100 million meals. They have more than 7,400 employees in 15 franchisees across the globe and marked the inauguration of their 100th location in 2007.
